Multi-Pure CBVOC-SB with Fluoride Filters- Under the Sink Filter

This unit adds two activated alumina cartridges to the standard Multi-Pure unit. Except under extreme conditions, the fluoride cartridges could be changed every second year.

This unit is mounted on the cabinet wall with a bracket. The system uses its own specially designed drinking water faucet which is installed directly on your sink, requiring little space. It may be connected to an icemaker using an icemaker tee.

Filter life/capacity is approximately 750 gallons.

Multi-Pure uses a solid carbon block filter that is considered to be the most effective method for reducing a wide range of contaminants of health concern which may be present in water. The carbon is compacted into a dense structure, causing every molecule of water to be forced through microscopic pores of carbon, effectively reducing pollutants. The Solid Carbon Block Filter is a replaceable cartridge designed so that it can be easily changed. Some additional advantages of the Solid Carbon Block Filter are that it does not waste water, there is no electricity required, it does not add salt or silver to the water; and it provides fresh, delicious, healthy drinking water.

Filter Life
Filter life will vary in proportion to the amount of water used and the level of impurities in the water being processed. Claims of capacity are not applicable to contaminants reduced by mechanical filtration because of broad variations in the quality and quantity of physical matter in your drinking water. Your Multi-Pure filter will clog, protecting you from these contaminants, and your flow rate diminishes. For contaminants reduced by adsorption, filter life/capacity is 750 gallons. It is recommended that the filter be replaced when the first of the following occurs: (a) the unit's rated capacity is reached, (b) annually, (c) the flow rate diminishes, (d) the filter becomes saturated with bad tastes and odors.
