This stainless steel model sits on the counter next to the sink. The hose and diverter valve assembly which is attached to the unit connects to your existing faucet. Filter life/capacity is approximately 750 gallons.

The only kind of faucet this model won't connect to is the kind where the faucet pulls out of the arm becoming a handheld sprayer.

If you have a separate sprayer that pulls out of the sink and is not part of the faucet itself, then this model will work for you (but you don't need a sprayer to use this filter).

This filter comes with adapters to allow connection to any type of faucet thread. Simply remove your present aerator, and connect the filter in its place using one of the adapters if necessary.

If you can't use this countertop model, consider the under-the-counter model which, besides saving counter space, has the added advantage of a separate spigot for your filtered water.
